Malahide Sail Training is an ISA (Irish Sailing Association)-Approved Training Centre, based in Malahide, Co. Dublin, and Bangor in Co. Down Under the ISA Cruising scheme, we provide both Theory Courses and Practical On-The-Water Courses, from Introduction to Sailing to full Yachtmaster Offshore Certificate Level. We run two sail training yachts - Blue Wrasse is a Hallberg-Rassy 34, and Helvick is a Malo 36, both of which are renowned for their comfort and stability. Our yachts are available for Skippered Charter, whether this be for a family day out, or longer periods, such as milebuilding trips around the Irish coast, to Scotland, or further afield, just let us know your needs and we can accommodate you! Our boats are also available for Corporate Charter, on a half-day, full-day, or longer package tailored to the needs of the individual Company – you can entertain clients in a novel way, or we can provide team-building days on the water. As well as providing tuition on our own yachts, we can provide Personal Tuition on your own yacht on a one-to-one basis, and can tailor the tuition to your personal preferences and your level of skill. We are also a registered centre for the Examination for, and issuing of the International Certificate of Competency (ICC), which is universally required for Yacht Charter.
